The apple blossom has come and gone - odd trees are still in blossom. Blossom time is always spectacular! I have taken some lovely photos this year a couple of which are shown here.

The wild birds are busy nesting and it seems at the moment that all the new little fledglings should be displaying their L plates. A couple of days ago whilst sitting having a quiet after breakfast coffee with the farmer a loud band was heard at the window. |

We both quickly looked up to see a small black object slide down not the outside of the window but the inside.
On closer observation it was found to be a baby swallow - we think one of the children must have left the back door open and not having the orientational skills of it's parents it came through the door and obviously got lost.
Having scooped up the baby swallow I showed it quickly to the children, took it outside and let it free again. It's lovely to see them at the moment -the air seems to be full of them.
